Blood and BoneBlood and Bone is a great soil conditioner that will help promote healthy plant growth and encourage worm and microbial activity in your soil.

Note the dark colour of this product; it does NOT have any additives or fillers.

Blood and Bone is a natural product suitable for use in all garden beds. This product is not recommended for use in pots.

Blood and Bone is available in 4kg bags and larger sized bags on request.

Application Rates

Apply during Spring and Autumn.
When Planting - Prior to planting apply approx. 1.5 cups per square metre (m2) of garden. Mix into the soil and water thoroughly.
Established Plants - Apply approx. 1 cup per m2 of garden. Mix into the soil and water thoroughly.
Composting - This product is ideal for composting. Sprinkle onto each layer as it will help activate the composting process. A final light cover of soil will help microbial and earthworm activity which helps to break down plant matter.

Health Hazard Information

Health Effects: Not considered a health hazard under normal circumstances.
Swallowed: May cause diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting and cramps, weakness and circulatory problems or gastro intestinal disturbances.
Eyes: Mildly irritating to eyes.
Skin: Mildly irritating to skin. Frequent and prolonged contact may cause dermatitis. No effect should occur if promptly washed off.
Inhalation: If present as high concentrations of airborne dust, prolonged contact may cause irritation to nose and throat and may cause coughing and shortness of breath.

First Aid

Swallowed: Swallowing small quantities is not normally harmful. If swallowed DO NOT induce vomiting. Give several glasses of water to drink to dilute. Seek medical advice.
Eyes: Hold eyes open, flood with water for 15 minutes and see a doctor or optometrist.
Skin: A small amount of skin contact is not normally harmful. Remove contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly. Wash with soap and water. Launder contaminated clothing before re-using.
Inhalation: Recovery is rapid after removal from exposure. If symptoms persist seek medical advice. Advice to Doctor: Treat symptomatically.
