Enviroshield Residual Insecticide

Enviroshield controls insects inside and outside the home and garden. Enviroshield is safe to use and in good conditions will stay active for many months.
Enviroshield Residual Insecticide
Active ingredient 250 grams/litre Permethrin in concentrate, 5 grams/litre in Ready to Use.

Enviroshield is safe to use around pets, birds and dogs.
CAUTION: Not to be sprayed directly onto cats.

Enviroshield can be used to:

  • Spider proof your home
  • Control white tail spiders
  • Control fleas in kennels, piggeries, poultry sheds and stables
  • Control cockroaches and silverfish
  • Control mosquitoes and flies
  • Remove infestations of ants
  • Keep your roses clean from greenfly, aphids and thrips
  • Control carpet beetles
  • Control bed bugs

Enviroshield has successfully been used to control bed bugs in Back Packer accommodation.

Instructions for Use

Spider proof the exterior of house/bach, fences and clothesline
Mix 20ml of Enviroshield concentrate per litre of WARM water. Put warm water in sprayer first, then add the concentrate and stir well. The 250ml bottle of concentrate makes 12.5 litres of spray which is more than enough to spider proof most homes. Spray all exposed surfaces using a fine tip sprayer. Cover any fish tanks or fish ponds and turn off pumps (toxic to fish).

Insect proofing the interior of the house/bach/caravan
Mix Enviroshield as above. Use a fine tip sprayer. Use sparingly. Lightly spray ceilings, walls, floors and carpets, skirting boards, around door and window frames (avoid any runs). Cover any polished furniture and polished floors. Close all windows and doors for 2 hours until dry then ventilate.

Controlling insects on roses and other garden plants
Mix Enviroshield as above. Use a fine tip sprayer. Spray plants as required (avoid spraying the actual flower as it is toxic to bees). Enviroshield has been used successfully in commercial crops of Sandersonia and Lisianthus and used in nurseries all around New Zealand.

Refilling the 500ml trigger bottle from a 250ml concentrate
A HUGE SAVINGS (Refills 25 times).

  • Partly fill the 500ml bottle with WARM water
  • Pour in 10ml concentrate and shake well
  • Top up with warm water and shake well

Enviroshield Residual Insecticide is available in a Ready to Use 500ml Trigger Bottle and also a 250ml concentrate. Larger quantities of concentrate are available on request.
